My dreams have been less enjoyable of late. Work stress manifests itself in dreams where partners come into my hotel room (?) at 10:45 AM on a workday, wake me up by sliding into my bed, and ask me for the draft of whatever I've been working on. Since my hotel room has a computer and printer, I have to give them the draft right there, which of course is less advanced than I have led them to believe, with uncombed hair, uncaffeinated, wearing nothing but a tank and panties. Rather horrifying. In one dream I also got a midpoint performance (no pun) review where the partner put his arm around me and said "You're not billing enough, but everyone likes your work. However, you can only coast on those impressive globes for another few months, so I'd suggest you get your act together and start billing a lot more."
The funny thing is, this particular partner is the LAST person who would put his arm around a female associate and comment on her ta-tas. I still feel a little funny when I see him in the hallway.
