I am embarrassed to admit this, but I've been watching Hooking Up weekly on ABC, and this guy last night said, about people you are dating, "There are yes-es, and nos and maybes... but the maybes are really just nos you're trying to convince yourself of otherwise." And you know, he's absolutely right. If it's not a yes, it's a no.
