I mostly agree Sebby was mainly correct
Caught the Redwalls in a free noon show here in my humble little cow town. Pretty good. Definite classic rawk vibe; SD's Crow's comparison is appropriate, with a healthy dose of Beatles/Brit pop (especially vocal harmonies) and a Dylan fetish. They played a smokin' "When I Paint My Masterpiece." Though I liked all the pieces, only a handfull of their originals really grabbed me. Good, but not jaw dropping. I'll probably buy the album.
They would have been much better in a dark room with plenty of beer or whiskey. Maybe next time. They have a SF show coming up. I'd recommend it for the Bay Area folks.
