You're correct, but I'm guessing Gord is more Canadian, in that the ratio of Canadian Gords to American Gords would be higher than the ration of Canadian Dougs to American Dougs.
Of course, I'm just talking out my ass here. And who can forget "Doug and the Slugs"?
