Boring Work Questions

In preparing a public disclosure document, I have run across a few questions I need input on:

1. Is the proper term "internet" or "Internet"?
2. Is the proper term "web site" or "website"?
3. Is Eric Clapton well known enough to not need describing?

Thanks in advance.
Many years ago, I went to see EC at Summerfest in Milwaukee. He hit the stage, opened with Bell Bottom Blues. It was sublime. Some teenage punk tapped me on the back and asked me "which one's Clapton, Dude?" I told him Clapton was the drummer.

That punk would be in his mid-to late-30s now. As sad as it makes me to say this, I think you still need to worry about some asshole reading the contract, calling you up and asking "which one's Clapton, Dude?"
