Oh. Fuck it. I'm gonna go ahead and speak for him. I believe he was describing multiple, but unconnected, Summerfest recollections in a single post. There were the times he walked there when he lived close by and there was also a time he saw Journey when he was traipsing along with (I'd guess) his up-to-no-good older sisters.
I'd think the line-up had turned to hairbandapalooza by the time he was close enough to walk.

FYI, I wasn't mixing them up. They were two unrelated references. I used to be able to walk to Summerfest referred to 94-97, and Journey referred to 77.
