But so does a Timex.
What I am knocking is how Tag has marketed itself into a new price category. Much like Absolute vodka, it is justifying high prices based on clever marketing. The product remains a solid product, but its not deserves the price its getting.
But I guess that could be said for a lot of watches. Unless you're getting a crazy high end patek or Audemars or some such thing, you're proabably buying an overpriced mass-produced item. Rolex is a huge joke. They've been pumping out a solid, mid level quality watch at outrageous prices for years. I dig old school cartier Panthers, but they are wickedly marked up. And those Dunhill and Montblanc watches... I don't get that at all.
I've heard from a jeweler friend that IWC is supposed to be the most durable item out there, fwiw. But they're pretty damn expensive. But they look really nice. Very conservative lines.
BTW, whats with those Panerais or whatever they're called? Those things are too big for a gorilla. They look pretty silly on the average man's wrist.

I hear there are some very reliable $4 digital plastic watches at Target. Barely marked up at all. You should snap one of those great values up. I'm sure it would help with the ladies too.
