Their excessive use of Britishisms sometimes annoys me -- I really think that most of the time that they throw in "tyres" and "petrol" and "lorries" and "queue" just to appeal to Anglophiles here in the US. |

Great vid Spankster! Thanks. I am sure the libs you cite will be rushing out to donate to Al-jizzeera's rebuttal video of all of the bombings of babymilkaspirin factories and bras on terrorists' heads torture techniques. Thank G-d Bush is staying the course in the face of the treasoners propaganda.

Cheers mate,

The Economist is a puzzling, awe-inspiring, tired out creature, unfit for my exitement level and splendid as ever! it seems to be overcharged with vigour, culture and certain lightness, from whom cares and confusions of real life slide off without making any impression (everything that a man ought to be) and it is in spirit and (factual) body beautiful. wouldn’t marry it, but date... for an (unrainy) season

 | Is any printed word timely these days? By the time I read the newspaper, I'm two days behind on the news cycle. I'm reading about yesterday morning while hearing ABC talk about this afternoon.

 | Ever looked at the cartoons? Half the time the cover is some sort of Joke. The Economist takes itself much less seriously than either Time or Newsweek yet it deliveres much less B.S. |

 | For the love of God, it is a London newsmagazine. Its writers are all English. When I was in Law School you couldn't find it anywhere in San Diego - not even in the Airport. It is just recently that it has become popular in the U.S. Would you complain if the "Financial Times' use the word queue or petrol? |
