I would, but it appears that Ms. Gap and I are going to see Pirates of the Carribean this weekend. (With a $130 Gazillion opening weekend, we were possibly the only couple in America who didn't see it last week).
I've heard from various people that (a) it's about 45 mins too long, (b) it lacks the sense of fun that the original had, (c) it was largely "a non-stop audio and visual assault on the senses." Charming. What say you folks?
Keep in mind, even if it's as bad as whatever that crappy TV show fiasco's wife make him watch, I will still be seeing this movie. Ms. Gap is such a Depp fan that it really doesn't matter what the movie is like, just that he's in it. (To give you a sense of perspective, she thought he was sexy in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.) The man could spend two hours on film staring into crystals, drooling and rending his hair and she would be quite content.
