That doesn't mean anything unless he makes another Bible-based movie that will bring out droves of churchgoers.

August is Happy

Hello, my mysteriously realistic imaginary internet friends! It has been many moons since I have visited these parts. If there is anything of interest, fill me in. Otherwise, I need ideas for ways to make this THE. BEST. AUGUST. EVER.

I am already going skydiving later this month and I already got a new tattoo recently and I already do commandofridayandeveryotherwednesday. So I need options ASIDE from these obviously stellar items of totall funfillment.

Spend the last week of August seeing volcanos and lolling around the Big Island (Hawaii)? That is my plan, at least. Care to join?

I should. I like MN, especially in the summer. You guys should have paid for that new stadium long ago. And you also should have approved one with a retractable dome because it's fucking cold there.

I'm sick of this conversation. We pay a bunch in luxury taxes, which go directly in other teams' pockets instead of being reinvested into their clubs. And Steinbrenner isn't the richest owner in the league. Why don't some of the other billionaires put some of that extra money into their squads? Steinbrenner could easily pocket $100 million and put a lesser team on the field, but he spends his money on the team.

The Yankees are a successful team with a good product. No one said a damn thing when we outspent everyone in the 80s and went nowhere. What exactly is Steinbrenner supposed to do? Field a team using the league average payroll? If the Twins made the same amount of money what would you expect of your owner?

Song Loop

I have that Puffy song "All about the benjamins" going through my head in a loop. I stayed late last night and today is en fuego. Is this a mental coping mechanism?

investment pays off

about 5 years ago I bought the Buzzcocks "French" which is a live CD, maybe from a French show? Anyways I listened to it 1/2 time then put it in my Sebby pile as something i don't like. But right now I'm listening to it because it came up on a shuffle thing- it's really good- you know the Buzzcocks do well with a little rougher edge.

Maybe i should give all those sebby bands another listen?

Have you ever made love while you watched the late, late show?"

Nah, when they're that young they can't tell you're tripping. But take it from me, your wife might get a little nervous if she finds you standing over the crib and staring too long. Then you've got some 'splaining to do.

your experiences and Sebby will be different as to "wife trusting dad with baby"- you keep refusing to acknowledge how much her finding out about your "college indiscretion" membership in NAMBLA shaped your early relationship with her.
