Original. the others are all only club-sport competitions.

Are they not somehow aligned?
(ETA: On second thought, don't bother answering this. I'll accept that your knowledge on this subject is superior, because the alternative is, well, too boring a conversation to even think about.)

I don't know, but I find it extremely rude that a certain someone hasn't responded to my PMs.

CA is famous for artificially inflating the prices of its wine to lend a certain faux-cachet to them. Guys like Ty are under the sway of the boxed wine they drink on a daily basis, so they don't know any better.

You have nothing to complain of, self-loathing Dutch Mutt. Have the Italian in you bite its thumb at the Dutch in you and be on your way.

Meanwhile, Penske is touting Connecticut wine over on the PB. He likes the little straws that stick to the sides of the boxes.

Current lunch plan:
A local place has a "sandwich" as follows:
- fried eggplant slices, with shaved turkey meat between, sitting on a bed of sauteed spinach. The eggplant, which provides a faux bread, is slathered with a spicy garlic sauce.
Of course, no "upscale food court" would have such a dish- if it sounds appealing, I suggest the following: - go to Sbarro- get the eggplant parmesan- dry- hold the sauce. then, go to the deli- shaved turkey sandwich - hold the bread. then go to the middle eastern place- get the shwarma with garlic sauce- hold the shwarma. Finally, get some sauteed greens. Maybe there is a southern place? collards could probably work. arrange on plate.
I'm having a glass of pinot grigio- don't know if the food court sells wine. maybe these wine boxes with straw Ty keeps touting?

ETA and who would put a sandwich on top of sauteed spinach? It'd get all wet on the bottom.
