As you have probably inferred, Jack listed them in order of wardrobe coolness as measured by schoolmates, notwithstanding any futile insistence by such parents as my mother that the tiger was exactly the same thing as the alligator.
My mother was honest enough not to attempt to make the same argument for the dragon.
