 | one thing about when my date has bacon is I'm always excited about her giving me a rasher, but if you're mixing those 2 up, then I probably wouldn't want any of your bacon, which could really ruin things for me.

I mean, Jesus has always been important in Texas, but not in government and politics. I think that there were a lot of Republicans, especially in the cities, that were pretty pissed off that they got so easily ousted because they didn't know how to talk the Jesus talk.

 | I'm not sure I follow.

The ugliness I'm anticipating has to do with GOP Congressmen getting indicted in the Abramoff thing, etc., after the election.

				      | I personally don't think that just joining up and making videos merits the death penalty --although this case is surely of the utmost importance to our national security.
I don't care if he is rehabilitated. He'll have the chance to practice his faith in prison with his Black Muslim brothers.

eta: Jacob Weisberg has a good piece on the subject in today's Financial Times, but it's behind their Wall Of Payment.

 | Oddly enough, I think this is the same AP reporter who wrote about Reid taking tickets to a Vegas fight (but forgot to mention that Reid subsequently voted against the interests of the group that gave him the tickets). What is it with this guy?
