You are apparently a much harsher critic than I -- particularly of the Hill's pork barrel stature.

I'm fine with enhancement, but having the same guy who did your Lasix put them in is unwise.

Lasix is what I take to make me pee out excess fluid. I don't think even RT's sister's mystery date would want a girl who peed through her sacks o' silicone.

Weird, that.

Jury Duty Update
I am in the box, have been voir dired, and will find out this afternoon whether I am going to be kept or perempted. I am not concerned about the defense. They have more scary fish to fry. But I could not get a read on where I stood with the prosecutor.

Stub Hub question
I have a question about Stub Hub. I found out at the last minute that i"m going to be in NY this weekend and so is my mother. Since White Chrimstas is my mother's favorite holiday movie, I'd like to take her to see the broadway show on Saturday night. Obviously the tix are sold out so I looked at Stub Hub. I'm happy to buy tix on SH, but they ship by Fed Ex and use Standard Shipping so I'm concerned that I'm not going to get the tickets in time for the show. Has anybody else used SH to get tickets for a last minute show? Was there any problem expediting delivery of the tickets? I don't see a method for expediting the shipping when I try to purchase the tickets.

they overnight, or arrange for local pick-up. that said, I did have them screw up a last minute delivery once (but didn't pay).

If you pay with a credit card, the card should protect you in the event that they don't deliver.

You could have the tickets delivered by fedex to your hotel and have them hold them there for you.
I've never had a problem using stub hub for anything, and I use them all the time.

that's a rather unsatisfying remedy, though. "Mom, I bought tix, but they didn't arrive. Good news, though--I get a full refund!"

Indeed. A half-decent credit card company would find a way to get you comparable tickets at the last moment.
