Why are people annoyed by a simple profession of faith? This is not a verse that should inspire animus. I could understand an objection to an "unbelievers rot in hell" kind of thought, but what is objectionable here?

Depending on sensibillities, it could offend those sensitive to the issue surrounding the inequity of marriage laws/rights in America, and some religious organizations position on the issue........no offence.....also, weren't you my sock for a while? what happened with dat??!?
