That is good news indeed.

Apparently the shoes are Jimmy Choo. I think she looked great. I was surprised here when someone said he was goofy looking, but better looking than she.

I think they're both really attractive.

Much better picture; still not as good as it looked in motion.

Did you ever see her shoes? I did not and no photos seem to have captured them, so no opinion. I rather liked the outfit although the top coat did seem rather bulky, which makes sense given the temperature and all. Leaps and bounds better than the election night red and black number.

In my experience any dog can be a great pet, its a large measure of what the people put into the relationship. I wish the Obamas luck and joy in the dog that they get.

Oh, sweetheart, I'm so sorry.

I don't hate the outfit; it's just not one of my favorite of hers. I'm not fond of the neckline decoration on the dress. Look forward to seeing her ballgown for tonight.

isn't the yelow and green simply evocative of spring (even though the weather isn't) and regrowth and change?

I did see them. Teal-ish. Sensible, for Jimmy Choos. I cannot find a photo now.

Here they are. They don't match the gloves (which looked good with the dress) but that's OK.

I love it, and love the color combination. I'd wear it.

Dude.

AoN, for those of you who (like me) thought that "Dave's Not Here" would be a good name for a band, someone beat us to it.

I love, love, love the glove-dress combo. My only negative thought was that it looked somewhat sparkly for daytime, but given the sparkling nature of the occasion, it was easily overlooked.

She's just gorgeous.

And, my GOD -- who wouldn't love this guy?!? He's so awesome.
