Too Many Kids

My first thought was to wonder why someone with 6 kids would want any more, much less go through fertility treatment to get them.

(a): I'm surprised a doctor would implant that many fetuses, whether or not a woman already had 6 kids. I thought it was usually no more than 3 or 4, and a small woman I know had just 2 implanted because she didn't want the risk of more. I assumed it was fertility drugs and not IVR.

(b) I don't think docs have any right to force a mother to terminate any fetuses even if the number is that high. They probably have a duty to advise of the health risks but can't do anything more.
