for a minute as i read Ironhead's post quickly with a corner of one eye, the other checking the Neisie stock averages, i thought he had said "want a free lick". I thought he was posting maybe an ice cream cone gif. I turned my head to face his post full on, thinking "wow, after all his drivel, he is finally gotten edgier than any of us, breaking down the fourth wall set by our computer screens, and offering us an imaginary electronic opportunity. what a groundbreaker."
I was ready to give him some poty props, when I realized he had linked to a soccer goal.

It does, actually. For me. Which is pretty much all that counts in the sporting category.
But even so, it is better. Why, you ask? Because, in part, the goalkeeper knew where it was going because Nakamura had hit the very same kick against him in Manchester (a game we lost 3-2). Even so, he could not reach it because it was hit with such power and so well placed. So nyah. Nyah, I say!*
*The Carlos kick is pretty much universally recognized as the best ever. And by "universally," I mean by those who think that everything done in a yellow jersey is better.

More Court Fun
Chicks in the two of the pics of the book "Hot Chicks With Douchebags" lose defamation (and related torts) action. Decision.
Here's one of the pics:
Plus, Roberto Alomar's exgirlfriend sues him for having unprotected sex with him after he was told that he had AIDS. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/9...-AIDS?MSNHPHMA
Aren't people wonderful?

Apologies if this has already shown up on the politics board
This made me laugh long and hard. Maybe I'm just in an easily-amused mood.

Re: A fashion board in which sometimes we'll remember to post spoiler warnings
A few years ago, there was a discussion about pre-fab/contemporary housing, and I said something about wanting to explore the shipping container option. A few choice comments were made about double wide trailers, and the discussion moved on.
Two of my best friends are builders who use shipping containers as their main structure just did a photo shoot on their prototype home. I've been to the house many times and I'll be doing an expansion on my house using similar ideas, but these pictures make me want to have the expansion done now: Cordell House
