Agreed, nothing says you have to be friends with anyone on facebook. It doesn't sound like you are holding a grudge, it just sounds like you just don't like the asshole.
Another note apparently thigh high boots are very popular. http://projectrungay.blogspot.com/20...igh-boots.html

Two things:
1. I really don't know if he's still an asshole. He may have reformed himself. It happens.
2. Even today, after many years of being wholly unaware of his existence, thinking back on our time together in High School, and the things that were said and done, I can honestly say that I do, very truly and sincerely, hold a deep-seated grudge against the fucking asshole.

1 ignoring the request is easy- you could simply be ignorant of the where to see requests. passive aggressive maybe
2 i have a good friend from bumfuck Oklahoma- one sister married an Egyptian another an AA guy- a guy who was a friend in HS (unknown as a racist), friends him. my guy figures the guy can't be so bad still so he accepts- once he was a "friend" the racist posts some pix from HS and tags my guy. that gives his sisters a feed and they go to the racist guy's page. turns out the racist guy is now a racist and has some seriously nasty anti-muslim and black shit up. both sisters gave him grief.
once i heard the story i unfriended coltrane- plus the hat always bothered me about him.

I live far from my hometown, but I have recently reconnected with old school chums via facebook, including a girl who had bullied me mercilessly. I still remember the sting of her taunts (and how ridiculous they actually were). Not unlike Tina Fey in that 30 Rock ep, apparently I had my moments of bully-dom, but that's just sort of what adolescence is like.
She now lives here and we have become friends again. Speaking to her about our experiences and our hometown and the strangeness thereof (it's a seriously strange place) has been really edifying.
Even though our lives are very different, we have some fundamental things in common, a way of looking at the world that's not necessarily shared by other friends in our lives.
So, you never know, he might have changed and you may gain something valuable. If not, I keep a lot of people on ignore and set into groups so they can't see anything anyway.

Er, more of a whore than usual.

I think this is causing you more angst than it is worth. If you don't like him, for whatever reason, don't friend him. If you want to find out if he has changed, friend him. You can always unfriend him later.

Protein powder, chocolate
What store do I buy this in if I could not find it at the fancy, large, new grocery store in West Hollywood? Or do I need to look harder? Whole Foods?Vitamin store at the mall? I would rather not order it from online. Thanks. I feel I am not getting enough protein.

Whole Foods has a ton of protein powders. I recommend whey over soy.

Both whey and soy tend to upset my stomach. I am a big fan of the Jay Robb egg white powders which I buy at the local health food store but which I believe you can also get at Whole Foods.
