 | Wow, so this is what Mensa meetings are like. Good to know.

The problem I have with most American made shirts is (a)too boxy and (b)giant and low armholes. Most British shirtmakers (even the discount ones like TM and CT) have higher armholes. | Icky's right on Tyrwhitt.

You're wrong on Pink. I have Pink shirts I've worn for five years.

You're right on Boss. Junk, and the collars are shit. American-style long points only. (If you're even moderately thin, spreads or modified spread are the only proper collars to wear. The long points only work if you need a wider face lengthened.)

ETA: Burberry are pretty durable. But you're right on the unwarranted mark-up.

Don't own one, but they're recommended. Turnbull & Asser are also decent, but they can be a bit gaudy, and the collars aren't cut back far enough, IMO.

If you're nuts, Borellis, Brionis or Kitons are really fucking sweet. But that's out of my tax bracket.

 | I agree. Great quality. I bought a few on sale but they never fit right. They stayed in my closet for a few years then passed them on to a trimmer colleague who wears them to this day for another few years, so far.

Any questions?

 | I have several Borellis in my closet. They rock. Also, I forgot in my earlier post, Helmut Lang. Like his stuff. Fashion stuff, not stuff stuff, no homo, no offence, nttawwt.

My advice to you, Dr. Sebby, and et al., up your tax brackette.

I wish I'd gone to this concert

I considered going because Paisley Park is not that far away but historically these concerts have started hours late and I wasn't up for the wait.
But this time it started only 10 minutes late and the local reviewer wrote

				Let's get it on.

Big battle with Philly coming up. And notwithstanding the fact that I hope we stomp them like a roach, I wanted to draw some attention to this guy from the Illadelph's remix of Empire State of Mind. He definitely gives Jay-Z a run for his money.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6ZI7...layer_embedded

TM | Normally I would be rooting against the Yanquis, on principal, no offence, however, given the fact that Hillary's move from the Senate (on behalf of NY) to State should have, to my understanding, lifted the infamous "Curse of Hillary!" that has held them down for the last 9 years, and thus, making inevitable that the Yanquis will win, without that albatrass around their necks, I am pro-Yanquis this year! Vive la Bronx!

Tie between Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, and Peter Gabriel.
