First thing I do with new shoes is take some sandpaper to the soles.* Those Metro tiles are deadly slippery when wet as it is.
*100 grit, if you're wondering.

Driving mocs. I'm telling you - best way to navigate the wet tile anywhere, and three times as comfortable as shoes. And if any nosy ass should comment on the lack of socks, you've got the built-in excuse that they cannot be worn with the shoes you're wearing.

I have some Borellis. Not as expensive as good hand tailored and the shop I get them at does very good (and full) alterations to make the shirt similar to a custom fitted shirt for gratis. Because they like me. And that's how I roll.

He also wore non-matching colorful socks. I keep waiting for that trend so that I can follow it.
Final note, he is the only person I know who polishes the bottoms of his shoes. Seemed dangerous to me, but man they looked nice.

Versace, eh. I'd take Borellis or Brioni and probably save money and get higher quality.
Also, as if you couldn't have guessed, I have been known to polish the soles of my shoes. I feel its only polite for when I have to put my foot down on the face of one of the many incompetents I deal with in a day. Also, it helps me hit my moves on the dancefloor.

As I previously noted, I wear no socks with any of it, and plow the cash savings from my sock expense budget into more expensive shirts.

I buy my clothing from a combination of Kohl's and Lands End. My winning smile and general animal magnetism means that nobody notices my clothing.

Yes, I have heard your au natural scent of wild animal presence makes quite an impression, although your wife tells me that when you don the Lands End outerwear it sort of covers up the stink. No offence.

Not saying anything and not noticing are two different things. Indeed, recognizing the difference is what separates man from apes.

In SF, we buy our eco-vegan clothing at Whole Foods. Made from hemp and recycled rubber. http://www.elephantjournal.com/2009/...o-whole-foods/

plus, fringey never seemed too interested while i claimed to be 6' 11"
i remember in college, there was this girl who was 6'3". I called her "the girl who was too tall." I would see her at bars all the time. she was pretty, but something always held me back, even drunk at the end of the night. she was just too tall. also, the fact that she was there so often late late at night means I was not the only guy who felt that way.
I was watching the Oregon UCLA volleyball game this weekend, and there were 6'5" women. I'm wondering if some of them were lesbians could they get dates easier, or are the really tall just in a world where it's tough to find dates, no matter the genitals they're attracted to,

Translation: I am not 6'11" even on the internet.

Being 6'3" didn't keep Gabrielle Reece from landing a hunky surfer husband.

I think we need to keep open the possibility that the tall women in question may simply have thought Hank was too short.
My experiences with tall women (either as friends or romantic interests) suggests that it isn't uncommon for them to have real issues with dating shorter men.
