Actual Fashion Question

I wear white v-necks under my dress shirts, but all the ones I've found are too fully cut for me. They bulk up around the torso. I can't find any slim-fit v-neck tees from Jockey or Hanes, but they both have slim-fit crew necks, which I don't wear that often.

Not really a fashion question since these shirts are never seen by anyone except for family.

We have been letting the 21-month old watch some Sesame Street on Sprout, which, as we recently discovered, only broadcasts episodes that are at least 10 years old.

We saw a very recent episode this morning on PBS...and it sucks. My daughter even looked at me with a "what is this crap" look? This can't be nostalgia, because Elmo wasn't around when I watched back in the late 70s (when it truly was awesome). Oscar really isn't that much of a grouch anymore, and some monster (Abby?) actually flies now. WTF?

Jesus, on the way to becoming Sebby, I think you missed a turn and headed to the road to Adderville. Pull over man and get directions.

I understand Snuffelupagus is no longer imaginary, seen only by Big Bird.

If you look at it, it's not really a question, but rather is a statement.

If you formed it into a question, why not wear the crew necks? Do you not wear a tie and have an open collar?

There's a children's brand called Petit Bateau that is very narrow and would probably suit you (it sounds like). They carry women's sizes, but I'm not sure about men.

Rate this post on helpfulness!!

I think it is mostly helpful to understanding the purchases you make for your son.

6'2, 180? Yeah, you are.

And I mean that in a good way.

Hank is on the way to becoming (dare I venture to say surpassing) Penske, and Flower is 5 years and one spin class injury away from becoming Midwestern Ironweed. Your chosen successor is Muggs, and he's halfway there.

now, my beef- since Walton has quit, my number one problem with sports announcers is pseudo-stats: "The Yankees always win in a year where they move into a new stadium."

The new stadiums are spaced by so long that no possible tie exists. for an announcer to make the statement with a straight face bothers me.

It happens all the time with college sports: "USC has never won in Ann Arbor." Well, okay, but they haven't played there in 25 years* so what the fuck difference does that make? Every player is gone after 4 years, and there have been 3 coaching changes for both schools over that time- it is stupid, and insults my intelligence.

I do make an exception for "the curse of the Bambino", since it recycles itself each year, or did, plus it would allot for the Lions "curse of Bobby Layne**."

* I made this one up, but you get the idea.
I agree. They come up with the most preposterous always/never sorts of stats.

How stupid does that guy feel? Seriously just about the worst play since the Leon Lett Thanksgiving Day fiasco. I picked the Lions that game, assuming that St. Louis might actually be bad enough to go 0-16 this year. Your team proved me wrong.

Are you thinking of Thrashers Fan from early LawTalkers days? She purportedly lived in Atlanta and I'm not sure if she ever said her husband's occupation, but he was not a professional. She also may or may not have been a str8 sock.*

*I don't think she was, but str8 made that claim at some point after she had been gone for a while.
