So the new Beastie Boys is streaming at their web site. My very very very preliminary reaction?

Ah, like you care.

 | Hi PLF! I'm about to leave work so I'm posting this here rather than IM'ing you. I just wanted you to know that El Clasico was lots of fun! They sing a lot! Warm up the crowd with Placido Domingo singing Nessun Dorma! Lots of men kissing each other on both cheeks when Madrid scores! No goals except for penalties (actually that was boring). Messi kicked the ball at Madrid fans! (not classy).

Anyway, fun. I'm jetlagged and want to go back on vacation. Work sux. |

 | Here's a thought. Maybe you need more interaction with your co-workers to enjoy your job? Why not follow a normal American sports like baseball or basketball? Then you'll be able to talk about your weekend 'round the worker cooler with real live people instead of these few scattered socks that pretend to like, what, "futbol?"

 | Perhaps you should take a trip to see El Classico on Wednesday? Too soon? How about a trip to see El Classico on May 3?

It's like you're own live GolTV, except no Messi v. Ronaldo match.

 | Hi! I tried to IM in response this morning, to no avail, so I am posting here instead. As you know, I am quite jealous of your adventure. Did you see when they threw Jose Mourinho up in the air? Remember when I claimed that I was the Jose Mourinho of the FB?

Then I said that Ironweed was more like then-Crystal Palace coach (now unemployed) Iain Dowie:

Ha! That was a good one. Anyhoo, glad your back. Get some rest. UWCA.

I imagine someone sending Rex Ryan a mail bomb, which he promptly eats, thinking it's a cardboard parm hero. It then explodes harmlessly with a muffled thud and a barely-perceptible expansion of his gut, after which he belches black smoke and slaps Mark Sanchez on the ass. This is generally what I do instead of working. |
