Let me get this straight, because I'm a non-runner and it's foreign to me, but you run outside around a track? Why? Isn't that significantly more boring/tedious than running around your neighbor, a park, a trail or whatever?

Well, the pasty-white bit is definitely still there. I went to a street festival this weekend. I wasn't even near the whitest person there. Could. Not. Believe. It.

Fitness level was pretty good though. Although who are we kidding, even one pasty-white, fat chick is too many, right? Darn fats being all fat everywhere. I hate them.

Tracks have softer surfaces that are easier on aging joints.

The boredom would more than offset that difference for me, so that I would rather chose a lower impact form of exercise than run around a track.

Then again, I'm not a runner.
