I have. Glorifying bad behavior was the least of the movie's problems. Unwillinggness to take razor to celluloid (or command - x to time line) was its biggest problem.

Re: A Friendly Correction for those Man-Haters who Delve to be Single
So the FBI just arrested my state senator (whom I fucking despise, have never voted for, and wouldn't vote for for dog catcher) for public corruption. Am I a bad person for being happy about this, even though I hate the FBI slightly more? Does it affect your view of my hypocrisy if you knew the "Special" Agent (they’re all "Special" Agents, BTW) conducted the press conference outside one of the homes where the warrant was executed (for a public corruption charge) while wearing an OD bulletproof vest with "FBI" across the chest?

There's nothing wrong with being happy here. It's not like you're glad Gwyneth Paltrow uncoupled because you want a shot at her.

I am troubled by your use of scare quotes for the agent(s)'s actual title. It's like your education is morphing to be like from a basketball power school.

Oddly, I saw Gwyneth and Chris Martin together on Saturday night. They both seemed happy then. Sounds like this has been coming for a while, so they could just have their game faces on or they could still be friends (which is what it seemed like).

Really? I was there too...with my wife...Morgan Fairchild (whom I've seen naked).

Exactly. I haven't seen Wall Street either, but our fascination with people who do risky things for high reward shouldn't be surprising. The fact that any fame or media exposure at all is translated into glory in our culture is sort of the normal state of things.

Weirdly, that same night, I received several ambiguous texts from Gwyn that could have been alternately interpreted as reaching out in a time of pain or a solicitation for sexual intimacy. She also sent an unambiguous text saying that "Morgan's husband is a complete dufus a-hole" which is weird because that's not how Gwyn talks at all.

You may desperately want these people to have absolute power and complete control over all things in this world, but Atticus and I are going to fight you on this to the end. TO THE END!

I am using scare quotes because the actual title used by Special Agents is a falsehood, the first of many that a Special Agent will freely use in his or her conversation with a citizen.

There’s probably a lot we disagree on — it’s hard to know with you, in a good way — but I am sick to fucking death of rich people, "rich" being here a word for people who earn $20K+ more than me.

Hell, wasn't the Dapper Don a celebrity? It took Vinnie the Chin, walking around in a bathrobe muttering to himself, to take some bloom off the mafia rose.

It's like what they said in The Incredibles. "Everyone is special, Dash." "If everyone is special, then no one is."
