It was really a very nice post. Well done. Really lovely. Good show. Attaboy.
paigow used to predict Coltrane would morph into the next Sebby. Is it positive or tragic that he's become a NotBob instead?

This actually takes us back to the inspiration for this thread's title! Ahem, and I quote:

"What you did by ignoring me like that after I made the efforts I did with you was tremendously rude and weak. I spend the very few dollars I have to take you out and because the movie was no good I get ignored forever? That tremendously week and childish and not indicative of the strong woman you posture as in any way. Now instead of a friend you have a pissed of person who just has bad things to say about you. How is that wise? We were a long shot and I kept expectations in check but I never would have just ignored you like that if you had been brave enough to meet my friends. Consider yourself scolded for that one. That was really weak of you. I deserved better than that."

Ps. Facebook thinks we might want to be friends.

Has anyone watched Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt?
I've seen the first few episodes. Pretty amusing so far, but I'm not sure it has staying power... The Variety review paints it as more of an NBC castoff than a Netflix coup.

Who has watched season 3 of House of Cards?

I just started. But I have to say I'm getting very sick of Spacey's smug, inflected, winking, soliloquies. They're becoming pretty tiresome and are the main reason I cannot binge.

Did you really decide to ignore him forever just because the movie he took you to was no good? God, what a bitch.

A few people have suggested I'd like this series, but this post suggests otherwise.

He was a wonderful person in every way, but that movie... It was just so... Bad. Hopefully he's learned to pick better movies because that was the only thing standing between him and happily ever after.

It is worth a look but certainly a show that is not for everyone. He is the ultimate wheeler-dealer and he is explaining the tricks and buttons he plays. I like it.

SPOILER

But in early seasons he is a congressman then VP and he is tricking/manipulating people above him. Season 3 doesn't sit well for me because that is gone. (is this spoiler? like if i say the Wire season 2 is about the docks is that truly spoiler?)

The SOL on spoiling The Wire ran a long time ago. Have we discussed this here? Sorry, if I'm repeating, but seriously. Omar got shot by a kid. Get over it.
