Lease german cars, don't buy.

RDX is a teeny bit bigger now but not as big as the MDX. I test drove one and liked it but am not ready to buy yet. (Icky says buy Japanese, lease German).

Q5 if no third row needed. Q7 if needed.

I had an MDX and it was a nice reliable car. Not particularly exciting, but fine. The 3rd row was nice when the kids were little, but no one over 5 ft fits back there, so it has to be an elementary student who is past the booster seat days. The cargo space was nice for car trips, but more than generally needed day-to-day.
Re the Q5 and Q7. I looked at both of those before getting my current car (X3). The Q5 felt narrow. The Q7 was better in that regard, but the 3rd row was tiny.
I like my X3, but the back seat doesn't really fit 3 across (my 10 year old is pinched if she's in the middle). The cargo space is ok for a moderate Costco trip, but lacking for a ski trip.

Do you think a 7 and 5 year old could fit in the back (third row) of the MDX?

Japanese Toilet
We may remodel the master bath, and I really want a japanese toilet. Any suggestions?

Do you mean you want features like music to cover up the sounds of bathroom use and deodorization capabilities? Or are you just set on Japanese toilet quality regardless.

I think it's more of the seat warmer and bidet-type features.

Had you asked this last year I would have taken note of brands, but the toilet in a Korean hotel vastly outclassed the one in the Japanese hotel. I seem to recall touch-screen functionality.

ewww. your fingers have pee and poo on them. touch screen? I'd insist on proximity switches.

Surely it was Samsung or Lucky Goldstar (I reject their new-fangled LG branding).

Please don't phrase this in the second person.

See if you can find last year's model. The current model will be comically expensive.
