We're all too old to want to see naked pictures of each other, we no longer talk about firm life, and the number of Fashion Board hook-ups seems to have fallen to zero.
Other than that, pretty much the same as it ever was. Nice to see you again.

As long as no one asks for a current picture I am good. I am frequently confronted by old pictures of my formerly dashing self.

I had a dream last night where there was a holiday gathering of lawtalkers types and someone spiked the punch bowl with LSD.
Who still serves punch? You guys are strange.

Seriously! It was just a happy coincidence that I had enough LSD on me.

There's no reason to talk about firm life when you're now the soul crusher instead of the soul crushee.

Soul crushing can be a nasty and difficult business; feel for us.

I'd give him one song, "Stranglehold," and he has to share that with Ravel.

Re: No Faith in the Moral Standards of the Players as a Group
so we try to go somewhere south each February. This year its New Orleans. How many days there is too long? I like to eat and drink, but that can get old without other stuff to see/do. 4 days? 5? Is there other stuff within an hour drive?

I've only spent a few days at a time there so I've not reached too long. If you like music and you can managed to just relax and chill (not a thing I'm great at), I think you can find enough to do for 5 days, but I don't know. The wife loved the riverboat tour, although I've never done it and it seems a bit touristy to me.
When we went on Spring Break, we drove to Gulfport for beach time, which is like an hour and a half, but I wouldn't recommend it. Last time through I came by car from the east and was looking for a place to stop short of New Orleans and found nothing appealing.
Seems like there has to be some interesting stuff in the bayou or south on the Gulf coast, but I don't know.

My brother lived there a few summers ago. I'll ask him for suggestions. He did take excursions to places like the Tabasco plant and various small towns around Louisiana to sample varieties of gumbo and boudain. I'm a big fan of Lafayette, but I have the benefit of a couple of crazy burner friends who showed me around.
I love driving over the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge when I go to NOLA from Houston, especially at night, but I'm not clear on how far it is from NOLA (six hours, more or less for us to get there, and the bridge seems closer to NOLA than Houston, but that's probably relative).
February is either right before or during Mardi Gras, which I've tended to avoid, but I've heard that the smaller parades outside of the Quarter are really awesome.
