I'd go a step farther, while I think she has an ego the size of most politicians at her level, I think she's survived being in that place with a remarkable degree of poise and principal intact.

When you hear her really wonk out on one of the issues that gets her going (most often, child development and education, healthcare or Middle East politics), you realize that here is someone who has studied the issues way better than almost everyone else in the room and who has thought hard about them. The only ones of the 20 other candidates who ever gave me an inkling of this feeling were O'Malley, Paul, and Kasich, and none of them have dealt with the bullshit she has.

I wouldn't then use my status to threaten his many many other women, just to advance myself politically.

If I did threaten and intimidate a rape accuser into silence, I wouldn't be a hypocrite and then go out of my way to make statements about how all accusers of sexual assault should be heard, because I would understand the consequences of a false accusation. Nor would I support measures on campus that lower the procedural protections for those accused on college campuses.

It's sad that this needs to be explained to you. But what can one do?

You start from a position of thinking Hillary is dirty. Therefore, in your mind, I'm saying that Obama is necessarily as dirty as she. That's your mistake.

Obama is the best of the best, in my opinion. But if you don't think he had to make tough decisions and cut some throats in order to be the king, you're delusional. That said, when it comes to not doing dirt, he's* the gold standard. If she meets that standard, then my statement stands.
