Part of what gets me to the gym is crossfit. The 6' 1" blonde girl built like a muscular Michelle Jenneke who does cross fit right in front of the bike I like.

I think this is being a little tough on Rose.

Switching gears, Grant Hart, drummer of Husker Du, died. I was not the biggest fan, but this song is one of the most visceral pieces of music I have ever heard. The actual title is "I'll never forget you", but in my mind, I always think of the song title as "I'm really mad at you. Really mad."

I haven't found either of those things to diminish my interest in observing attractive women.

If anything, the latter has increased the interest via decreased opportunities for marital interactions.

Like you I don't act on the interest (not like I ever had any game anyway), but the interest is there.

I recall my grandmother telling me as a young child no improper English or use of local "accents" would be tolerated.

Allowances are made, of course, for comedic/artistic effect. And people are of course entitled to speak however they like.

But I feared the woman, and the point stuck. YMMV

In volume, the calories saved are significant.

How shall I put this...? Second to Pony, who appears terminally aroused, I might have a seriously overcharged libido.

This isn't seeing a hot chick and thinking, "damn..." This is more like seeing all women nude, all the time. The synpases are so attuned and focused, that little moment between when you see her and mentally undress her has now turned into something like x-ray vision. (And it's not always a benefit, as it happens with the not-so-hot, too.)

I read somewhere that with increase in lean muscle and decrease in body fat, one's testosterone jumps. I find this medical literature to be of high credibility.

Thanks for this. I can't believe how long ago Zen Arcade came out. What happened?

You can drink it like diet soda. And it follows martinis nicely, and fits well between g&ts.

I like red, but it's a sloppy buzz, and a brutal hangover. And I detest white (yes, I know rose is technically a white, but the taste is much different).

They're the same thing. One's just been infused with certain flavors and tends to have a higher alcohol content.

A vodka martini is indeed useless. But a good vodka (Ketel) on the rocks, or with coconut water, or some fruit juice and club soda, is fine.

I also think I may have seen you say that you have given up scotch and bourbon, but I'm afraid to look back at your post to confirm because even the possibility that you said this has left me deeply unsettled and I'm concerned that if I actually saw that in writing, it would burn my eyes out. But you keep doing you!
Take it in context. This has been easy for the past few months, the following being rarely, if ever, heard:

"My god... It's ninety. I'm sweating my ass off. You know what'd be great right now? A nice glass of Laphroaig, neat."

When it gets cold again, I could see my palate demanding a return to the brown liquors.

I consider Rose(insert annoying accent) to be like Jane Austen, something people keep goading me into trying again, only to drive home that the stuff is swill.

But, if you like such things, I'm told that Lebanon and Israel are the places to go for drinkable Rose(insert accent) these days. Apparently they make it with a lot of Syrah, which means it actually has (some) flavor.

Me, I'd rather have a single glass of a great bordeaux than a bottle of such stuff, and if you simply drink less better stuff, the buzz isn't a problem.

Have you been to France in the summer? You need a nice glass of chilled rose on a hot afternoon.
