GOP now has a higher favorability than the Democrats.
It would have been better if Trump had picked Amy Coney Barrett, but whatever. This whole situation sucks. But way to go on largely uniting the NeverTrump and AlwaysTrump schism.
ETA: The last month or so has made the best case possible for repeal of the 17th Amendment.
