It’s all about positive framing.

My therapist’s degree from St. Mary’s Upstairs College of Tele-Psychiatry arrived yesterday.

I was also really, er, optimistic about a few months of prophylaxis.

Has anyone seen a graph of cases/deaths if you omit NY/NJ/CT?

As the only non-immigrant white dude on our sorta weekly video “happy hour”, I’m proud that the son of a Vietnam-era refugee described his support for a public sector that provides the basics for all as “communist” so I could support the idea.
None of the participants need help, but it’s remarkable that someone of Hmong descent believes that. Sort of. Of course, we can do that short of communism.

NY/NJ/CT are approx 44% of total deaths.

I just read an old Sebastian post that said, unless you’re like a billion years old, or have some fucked up lungs already, this thing will be like having a mild cold. And. Sebastian. Is. Never. Wrong. If I catch a mild cold from spending some quality time where the deer and the antelope play, I’ll deal with that no problem. We have plenty of Kleenex in the pandemic supply room.

We have plenty of Kleenex in the pandemic supply room. | Look, I'm all in favor of Hank speaking for the trees. I like my thneed indeed, but is that because of want or need? Or perhaps I just like the truffula... petting it while I'm on weed? I hope that when this is done, someone saves a truffula seed!

But the Once-lers who are weak or old, they need to stay home, they do. They've made their money (most), and and its time to give the kids their due. So the strong and young can go out, and go out they should and they must. For unless they do so and soon, the entire village goes bust!

For a brief trip away sits the Grinch, atop a mountain of money, not a pinch. And he roots for fear in the village, which allows him to eventually pillage. And while the scared and frozen bleat, he shall buy up every home and every street.

We partially "opened" today, and of course for the last two days, the numbers have gone up. Going down for 14 in a row is a sign things are leveling off.
