As a wacky undergrad, I ordered 30 large cheese and onion pizzas for Dan Quayle and his entourage when they were in town. I heard later from reliable sources that the pizzas were accepted, paid for, and eaten. I did not forego any sports and the soup kitchen remained understaffed.
