I'm not going to get into the pissing match, but there are a number of reasons, both technical and pragmatic, why we can't just make one mod login or one admin login.

For example, we have a logging system which logs all admin and mod activity. If something happens, i.e. a post gets deleted or a user is banned, or whatever, and it was done improperly, we want to be able to look at our logs to see who did it. If we have one general login, there is no way to tell who did what.

Additionally, some people moderate more than one forum, but not all forums. We set indiviudal mod privileges per account. That is the only way we can do it.

This really isn't up for discussion. There were only three people ignoring admins, and each person was ignoring a different admin. Since the admins being ignored rarely post, those people will have to endure a minor inconvenience going forward. Mods can still be ignored, you just have to PM me (I'm the only one who knows how to add it to the database) and I will do it for you, no questions asked and with absolute confidentiality.
