A man involved in an X-rated video available on the Internet is a San Francisco police officer. The woman involved is an institutional officer who works for the San Francisco Sheriff's Department. A citizen called the sheriff's department after recognizing the cops on an adult Web site. (One wonders how a person gets to recognize a cop - and who happens to be watching internet porn.)

The man, a three-year veteran of the San Francisco Police Department, is seen in the adult Internet video production riding in the back seat of a car while trolling for women.

A male voice on the video says, "With a handful of money, anything can happen."

The woman who gets in the car works for the sheriff's department as a police officer patrolling San Francisco General Hospital.

Over the weekend, the male officer, who patrols in the city's Tenderloin District, was put on desk duty. (Clearly too much temptation.) And this is my favorite part..."We'll determine if any rules or procedures from the department have been violated."
