I am certain you are not thinking of the OddMan, but he is now a paramedic, which I think is incredibly cool and will be useful in case of zombie-pocalypse.

when the zombies come, the last place you want to be is anywhere near a paramedic. they drive a truck that might have bloody people in it, and even if they dump the injured out, they, and their vehicle will be blood tainted.
if it happens, write him off.

Whoever it was back in the RealGAs or Infirmation days, I thought there was a female GA who lived in Atlanta** and was married to a fireman. But then again I could have completely misremembered everything.
**I used to think BnB lived in Atlanta (don't know how I got that so wrong) and wondered why people were worried about her during a hurricane. So that makes me think I am 0 for everything on this.

That is ironic!
It is also not true, since they had new stadiums (or fields) in 1903, when they were the Highlanders, and 1913, when they were the Yankees.
But, yes, the recitation of meaningless coincidences as patters, trends, or "statistics" is rEdiculous.

I have a plan. A friend with a reasonably nearby cattle ranch, a couple of friends who are excellent shots. I am a decent shot, so I can help with the slow-moving variety. The OM, as a first responder and a listener to conspiracy theory radio, will recognize the signs quickly, abscond with said truck filled with helpful meds, and drive us through the melee.

I once lived in Atlanta, before becoming a lawyer.
I don't recall ever dating a firefighter.
The ex is a lawyer, and as I have mentioned here before, boldnbrazen was originally his login on the Infirmation site. I just kind of stole it.
I'm bold and brazen like that.

Well, I mean, he's amazing, but that whole lawyer dating thing sucks. The only thing worse than being him right now would be working for him.
On the plus side, I have plenty of free time to dodge the ex-LMA's advances.
How do you all do it?
|
Good question.
I solved it by marrying a guy who has NOTHING to do with the law or banking or any finance-related matter. His work is seasonal, and as a result, winters are not nearly long enough any more. And, he's hot.

I hope Fugee wasn't thinking that BnB enjoyed her nightly sixer of Bud Ice.
What is BnB's position (ha!) on the anal sex, anyway?

Those nitpickers at LaZBoy!
They may have cost Proctor, MN $30K!
The city was auctioning off the motorized "lazyboy" chair involved in a nationally publicized DWI case and the bidding had gotten to $40K.
Then someone at LaZBoy noticed it was not their brand of chair. The city agreed to change the listing but in the meantime Ebay deleted their auction. They've started over again but with less than 11 hours to go, bidding is only up to a little over $10K.

You married a gardener?
The ex-LMA and I are having calendar problems for a party we're co-hosting because his season is opening, so I am getting flashbacks to all of the nonsense from the past year.
At this point, I prefer having to schedule things around the CS's insane work deadlines rather than the ex's competition schedule, training camps, etc.

I dated a lawyer. I don't think the lawyer part had anything to do with the failure of the relationship.
I've since moved on to an event production guy. So far, so good.

2. He and the Displaced Dog shared a number of characteristics, so he holds a pretty soft spot in my heart.
