I'm still Pistons blinded, but until D'Antoni wins I have to believe a team with his "defense" cannot win.

Hold on, I'm from NY too and standing under the basket, waiting to take the ball out once the other team has it and is ready to shoot doesn't qualify as "defense."

Re: Lamest k race win ever

You know the old theory how athletes shouldn't fuck before games since it'll screw up their performance? Tiger woods has pretty much destroyed that one?

I think all of us are saying the exact same thing.

Ah, but if you look at his performaance after the story broke, you realize the actual rule is that one shouldn't get caught fucking before a big game.

Okay, so, as I said elsewhere, I don't get it. Case says she doesn't want to be hit on by a lot of men, but wants to get hit on as much as her male colleagues. What does this mean? Less sex for male rockers?

Also, I think her dilemma can be pretty easily explained by the risk of being perceived as a creepy stalker for hitting on a female performer. Obviously plenty of female groupies are creepy stalkers, but danger seems rather greater when the genders are reversed.

Also, I am going to go see which upcoming acts at First Avenue have female band members... (hi, gatti!)
