i don't know either song, but the first copyright case i was in, some Detroit guys sued aretha for copying Freeway of Love. of course, biglaw was on the side of queen. their song sounded nothing like FOL to us. when we spoke to OUR song expert he told us there were like 10 points of similarity or something. of course experts are full of shit and more concerned about keeping viable for their new matter.

still, its an area where you might be careful about forming strong opinions.

contrasting wiht the other lawsuit, I feel strongly that I would not want to fall into a toilet of pee or poo, but given my choice, and golden shower experiences, I feel strongly that I would rather fall into pee than poo.

you are a wild man P! I would love to party with you! Of course, it can be scary. I remember the picture you took of your wife on your wedding night.

Isn't Cold Play's sucking and appealing only to homosexuals punishment enough?

Of course, either Satriani has hired an expert (who compared the songs and put them together) or he won't need one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ofFw...eature=related

Spree of a youtube clip: Basically when you put the two songs together, it sounds like one.

I like Coldplay. I adore Satch.

This was a great vid. I love Satch even more. I still like Coldplay, but they should drink and smoke more. And eat more animals.

In the end, maybe they should get together and make twice as many people happy.

Which always reminds me of Spider Robinson's fantastic short story "Melancholy Elephants." http://www.baen.com/chapters/W200011/0671319744___1.htm

Satriani sucks. My radio station is always playing "Always with You, Always with Me," and it sounds like a fucking Mike Post theme over a slo-mo beach montage from 90210.

I realize it's unfair to judge from the only song to get radio play, but I will continue to think he blows until Flower tells me he's the greatest thing since Melt Banana.

limpy mclimp or whatever that sock's name is, he PM'd me once that he lost his virginity to this super smoking chick. did it five times in the first two days, then it was over.

I asked "you end it or did she."

he goes, "we had to stop. the pages she was on were all stuck together."

sometimes walking a mile in a man's shoes just makes you glad to be out of them, you know?

If I had enough money, I would hire him to play concerts in my car when I go for a long drive.

Always with me, always with you is not his best work. Try Surfing with the Alien, or, well, anything of his.

Man's showing his son the small village where he grew up. Man takes son down a path to a field and says, "Son, right here's where I first became a man." They walk a few more yards and man says, "And right here is where her mother stood while we did it." Son, impressed, says, "And she was cool with this -- did she say anything?" Dad says, "Baaaa."

Thanks, folks, this copy of Maxim will be on your bathroom floor all week.

However, with a dog who is not house trained, believe me, you'd rather he poo inside the house than pee. As long as the chunks are firm and well-formed.
