I'm planning to make dinner for him on the weekend anyway, but that's not really anything out of the ordinary since I often make dinner for him.

My bougainvilla, plumbego, hibiscus and split leaf philadendrum are probably not going to make it without serious hacking. Six inches of snow in dallas yesterday? A week in houston that doesn't get out of the forties? Three hard freezes in one winter? Fuck that.

Don't be ridiculous. No one flies to go skiing out east. We did it once...to Killington. Skiiing is supposed to be done on snow, not ice.

Ah, Killington. Such happy memories of high school ski trips and 7 hour bus rides.

What was the average number of HJs given on those trips?

Killington. Suicide Six. Trapp. Massanutten. Wintergreen. Smuggler's Notch. Mad River Glen. Gore Mountain. Blandford. Crotched Mountain. Loon Mountain.

The East Coast has some whack-ass names for its ski resorts.

You have not skied unless you have been to Trollhaugen, Buck Hill and Afton Alps.

My wife gave me Mario & Sonic Winter Olympics for the Wii. Consequently I've been able to experience virtual curling firsthand. The designers presumably exhausted every possible trick to make it fun. It is boring as spit. It is bocci except cold and with half the excitement. And they decided to make jobs out of behavior that would be denounced as cheating in any other sport. The "How It's Made" where they displayed every step in the making of a curling stone was more riveting than playing it. I can only imagine how it compares with watching it being played.
