When I saw recent photos of meetings between 43 and 44 during the transition, they looked like a couple of insurance salesmen.
Until yesterday, I don't think 44 needed to do anything to make him look younger or less traditional.

I thought she lacked the power she used to have.

The instrumental piece with Yo-yo Ma and Itzhak Perlman was outstanding though.

Are you kidding? She totally pulled it off. Yeah, it's a horrible hat -- but if you're Aretha Franklin, you can do that shit.

I think the only other woman who could wear a hat like that would be the Queen of England.

I'm wondering if there was a conscious decision to make her look more "stately", or matronly, than sexy. (If not that, then they really just had an idiot design the dress.) Pity that they couldn't achieve that in a way that still made her look good.

He should wear ties made of Kente cloth. After all, when he dressed in a dashiki it was really well-received.

Not a good look on that suit coat. If you were to get one, the suit coat probably should have 2 buttons and a double vent. The ticket pocket should be smaller than that one. I've seen ticket pockets on more British-cut suits. The one in the picture above seems to be an amalgamation of a bunch of styles. The suit jackets below both have ticket pockets, and I think they look pretty good. Plus, you almost have the ability to test AG's theory.

Ammo, drugs and money.

Agreed that the ticket pocket in these examples less objectionable, but to me these are also much less formal suits. If I was looking for something to wear for work purposes (which is pretty much the only time I wear a suit), I wouldn't buy any of these (and I wouldn't by the orginal example ever, period).
