Anyhoo, notwithstanding that brief moment of verklemptitude over the epic battles of my youth, all this reflectiveness has me thinking. For a change. Makes as much sense as that damn Star Trek movie. As one who watched the OS at his grandmother's house when first aired, because that was the only color TV in the family, I can say that , NG, DSN, Enterprise, whatever, never rang hollow.

But JJ Abrams is a charlatan and a hack.

Will Fugee indict a ham sandwich?

Today's mail included a jury duty summons. But not just any jury summons, a grand jury summons. My county keeps a grand jury paneled (or whatever the word is) at all times and each one meets generally once a week for four months. I'm not sure if this means I definitely will be on the grand jury unless I find a way to get off or it it works like the regular juries where they call lots of people in but only pick some of them.

I'm also not sure whether this would be really interesting, really creepy or a huge PITA.

My guess would be a combination of (a) and (c). Enjoy.

I thought we'd all retired.

Should we be following Penske to the new AARP lawyers board or something?

I thought it was his way of telling mommylawyer that spring has sprung and he's taking off his snow tires.

Just to be clear.

I am not the prank-calling Tyrone.
