It makes me wonder whether you have a closet full of plush toys somewhere. Or a picture of a dog that pulled you out of a frozen lake, only to die soon after of an undiagnosed liver condition.
I suspect not. If anything, Less's tale is more like the Woody Allen skit, where some crazy religious dude* threw a Bible that would have killed Less, had he not been saved by the bullet in his pocket.

*a repetitive term in Less-land, I know

Well, unless the begrieved is hot and needs to be comforted, of course.

You're going to the deceased's Facebook page to experience schadenfreude? Triumph? Regret over a loan of a few dollars you'll never get back?

I was advised to kick something to improve mood, and apparently legs are strong.

I wear cycling gloves so unclean hands are not a problem, and in the event I am caught without tp on a ride and need to use my hands, I just toss the gloves to the side of the road after the wipe. I assume a race marshall will be by to pick them up.......

having said all of that, you make a fare point of equitability and for that I find another reason to salute you. As always, my bidet is your bidet so that you may never be with unclean hands......

Indeed it was good advice and I am indebted to Mr. Sidd as without him I may very well have been righteously embarrassed in my meeting, but instead I was smooth as an 89 Petrus.

Having said that, I have a follow up query as this bilingual cultural competency stuff is tres hard.....after we finished the introductory chitchat, and then wrapped up the business portion of the meet, the conversation turned personal and eventually to sex (as that is where most of my convos end up).....she confided that there are some "issues" in her marriage and at the same time I realised that she was slowly running her now unshoed foot up the inside of my right calf......and when my jaw dropped she licked her lips, seemingly lasciviously.....

what exactly does such behaviour mean in French?
