It's really not that difficult to do when you have everyone else on Ignore.

I was reading old posts because I felt misty about the old days, when we talked about sex, money and television.

Ah, good times.

"Good.

Times."

I have been hanging around a different online community lately and apparently they will make reference to gardening when trolls post. Except for the inside baseball terms, the place is pretty different than here. The biggest culture shock for me is that they are exceedingly, perhaps excessively, nice to each other.

They sound like a buncha pussies.

My other board is a place where both swearing and any form of personal abuse are strictly forbidden. Then again, it has more than a dozen regular users, who haven't known each other for ten years or more, so there's that.

When I think of all the grief I've gotten for not meeting you, I can't imagine the suffering that would have resulted if I had.

At least you were invited. I have this recurring dream that is a beautiful Friday evening in the summer and I am walking to my car when, in the corner of my eye, I think I see some people I know sitting outside at a sidewalk bar, laughing and telling stories. But when I turn to look, they are all facing the other way and avoiding making eye contact with me, so I keep walking. Only when I get to my car do I realize that it was all the other Minnesota posters plus some Detroit-looking guy with what looks like a photoshopped face.

What the fuck is this guy talking about? More importantly, why is the Washington Post publishing this shit?

I believe he is advocating more sex ed for Catholics by highlighting the number of Catholics who would use birth control if they just could figure out how.

Reading that, I'm thinking we may need to start handing out condoms at Mass.

Marriott

Does anyone have a recommendation for a Marriott that's good for a young family vacation? I'm looking for a location where you can actually use points for a suite or 1 BR. Somewhere warm.

The Marco Island resort looks nice -- that's kind of what I'm looking for. I don't want to fly too far.

I will not thank you in advance.
