Ferrets maintains that a reference to "1984" has "literary" validity, and that the reference was sufficiently obscure as to be unrecognizable to many, if not most proles. But if you wish to be even more obtuse I sign off for the evening with a dramatic rendition of a poetical work of Richard Braughtigan, a 1960s poet who led a truly depressing life and met a lonely premature death. The poem "Negative Clank", one of my personal favorites, reads in its entirety as follows:
"He'd sell a rat's asshole to a blind man for a wedding ring."

 Good night.

I guess what I'm saying is, if you want friends, be friendly, and if there's something new that you think you and your friend might enjoy together, you don't just cram it in her butthole. |

I agree with ferret's take on the penalties, but I just needed to make clear that plf was goofing on seb, not criticizing the sanctions. also, if anyone makes a misstatement about orwell's work, or string theory, I do feel like i need to clear the air. that is simply me being helpful and educating the board as a whole, which I can hardly believe any of you would disagree with.

Sorry. Just thought that in order to be fully understood, your message should be as complete as possible. Carry on. |

				In house

Assuming it would result in a minor haircut on compensation, what are other reasons to NOT go in house? red tape;can't grab assistant's ass;$$ potential capped much lower.

Other thoughts?

Other thoughts? | when I started in private practice the main reason to go in house was they left the office at 5 and could use all their vacation time. the people I know in house now work longer hours than I do.
