I kid, I kid!

It's just such a magical autumnal day here in Midtown, as I stroll through the glittering crowds and shimmering clouds toward Grand Central to hop on a subway to head downtown for a client meeting. Not even the hated Eagles beating the Giants last night keeps me from having a spring in my step. |

 | But on the subject of football, how nice it was to see the 49ers come back.

 | I have known football hooligans. Football hooligans are friends of mine. And you, sir, are no football hooligan.

 | I think if your stars all had good wood-y American-y sounding names like "Clint Dempsey" the game would go over better here. Instead you always have these names we can barely say, with lots of vowels, and if there are any consonants it's two or three in a row, and you can just imagine the flopping the punter would like to get up to.

But "Dempsey," that's a square jawed name right there, I bet he scored that goal clean, with no crying on his part.

 | Well said, and yet I have trouble imagining a soccer player named Buster Posey.
