The better case scenarios require believing he's a liar and you have special insight I to what he really thinks (you don't). |

This cycle, GOP national candidates are fleshing out a full basketball team on the subject, which Colbert has dubbed "Team Rape." |

(Well, I suppose it is to the extent that Romney is a placeholder for the national GOP, which is becoming populated with more true-blue, unpolished culture warriors. But other than that, no.)

Hank just wants to turn the conversation to a potential Won Popular Vote/Lost EV grudge which, if it turns out it's needed, Hank can nurse between now and 2016. |

 | A functioning and growing economy.

The Republicans respond, electorally, to the states that elected them. Look at what those states have for an economic engine, and I suspect it won't be what drives your practice.

I mean, I'm sure it's nice when Texans make money on oil, and not quite so nice when Walmart (or Atlanta-based Staples) opens another box, but he clearly knows squat about and isn't going to help the auto industry (especially given his current trashing from everyone involved with GM and Chrysler) and I promise you he knows very little and cares less about software or biotech.

Yeah, the Goldman Sachs guys are kinda pissed that they gave him oodles of dough and he still regulated them, but sometimes the medicine is for your own good.

				In fairness to Romney

I find the criticisms over his Ohio event yesterday a little strange.
They were going to have a political rally. Events beyond their control happened, and they decided to add disaster relief component to it. That's commendable.

Sure, it' not a very efficient way to do disaster relief, but they were having the rally anyway.

 | If you vote out of pure self-interest, and you have money, and all you care about is your taxes, you should vote for Romney.

But the economy does better under Democrats.

 | How about : a vote for Romney is a vote for further economic disparity and a bigger deficit?
