We are social animals and what we do impacts others. Maybe people in Less's hypothetical think that the reasons for their decision trumps the pain such a decision will cause others, but that doesn't change the fact that (almost all of the time) there will be pain.
 | Bite me. Reread what I wrote. I agreed with your point, but I made another.

But, yes, in the end, not hypothetical at all, my decision trumps allayall's. Even if I am hale, healthy and 32 years old. If you believe otherwise, you believe in slavery. Me to you, or whoever claims to suffer enough pain if I off myself.

The argument over whether red wine is better than white is just like the argument over whether crafted Porters from whatever country are better than Bud or Pabst.

I like a few particular wines, like a Montepulciano from Castello Banfi ( I can't pay more than $75 for a bottle, sorry, I just can't do it) or a really good chardonnay. But, I usually just say "red."

Watching a Titanic documentary. Of course I would want to be on a lifeboat, and every male sock here would do the same. But how would one increase the chance of passing as a woman, or a child? Should I take time to shave my legs? I need a dress, sure, but can I pull it off with a hat or must I find a wig below deck somewhere? Some of you who've met me, do I need to alter the body too?

You're welcome.
