I probably watch three out of four of his shows, with a finger on the remote to fast forward. Usually the fast forwarding is for one of his guests, not him, but his opinions on women, Islam, religion in general, the poor, vaccinations, and a few other topics, I could do without. But, there's a lot on his show that I agree with, or at least could be persuaded to come to a middle ground on. I generally like his New Rules, and his guests can be good. By and large, the Islam crap only comes up every now and then, so I can ignore it.
ETA: And as for okra, my favorite versions are a) my mother's gumbo, b) the fried okra at Hartz's Fried Chicken in Brenham, and c) the fried okra salad at
Indika.
