That’s not me giving him the benefit of the doubt. That’s me saying I don’t know if he’s lied in a setting in which it would have consequences. The man lies in many places. I don’t know if he’s done it in a setting where it’s punishable of which I’m unaware.

I did, however, take the liberty of assuming Adder was as unaware as I am. Maybe he knows of a setting in which Trump lied which would result in consequences.

ETA: I do know, however, that he did not lie in one setting where it’d have consequences: To Mueller. We’d know if he lied there.

Not really, given that Manafort would up not cooperating and Mueller had no access to foreign witnesses. But it was likely wise to not let him sit for an interview.

It’d be the height of malpractice for Trump’s lawyers to answer anything on his behalf with a response that could be proven a lie. I suspect Trump’s answers fell into the category, “Client does not know at present, based on reasonable investigation.”

Ben Shapiro’s voice is creepy. Too high to be a man, but too masculine to be a woman.
