No, not certain. We'll see. I was only hoping to take out about 50% of the equity, and assumed that wouldn't be hard, but haven't actually taken any steps down the road yet.

Re: Election 2010: Teabaggin' the Ds & Rs
obama- the "negotiate with hostage takers" meme was unwise, you know- you'll see that in commercials next election.
but here is my question. the Rs support the "rich tax cut", okay, they can support a stance, right?
how is it obstructionism to fight to save them? the rs cut a deal to give the Dems stuff they felt important, but saved the thing they wanted. I mean the Rs control 1 house and almost control the other, as of the current will of the people. their stance should matter, shouldn't they?
edit: by the way, why did "the deal need to be done by 1/1 or middle class taxes will go up?" couldn't a deal be cut in March that would extend the "middle class breaks?"

As with all scotch, I'd suggest you see if you can find a good bar to have the first one in before investing in the bottle. Nothing worse than discovering the bottle is so-so but still having to finish it.

You'll be able to, but be prepared for a rate higher than the advertised rates for conforming loans.

2 - don't like green or gold for that matter. I stick to black and blue. But Macallum 12 is the best bang for the buck out there.

well, one thing worse is not having scotch at all. Green isn't so bad as to be undrinkable, it's just an unwise choice made by someone who is tied up in trite brand loyalty, or like sebby, someone curious to try it. Sebby shoud try it. less on the other hand should be censured from posting on scotch.

single malt as your main choice means you are not an alcoholic, no offense.

Re: Election 2010: Teabaggin' the Ds & Rs
press conference- he seems to be arguing with the reporters as if the reporters were the left wingers that generate the question (which they are or course) but it's strange.
p.s. he just admitted the NYT is an extreme liberal opinion driven organ.
smh

It's hard to find in bars. But since you're so vehement on this, and I defer to you on scotch, perhaps I'll just buy another bottle of Black and see if we can find a bar serving Green.
The only problem is, by the time we get to the bar with the Green, I'll have already had too much Black to assess what the hell Green's like. Black is truly lethal. You can drink it like soda.
(I actually kind of like Black more than Blue. It's been an odd progression. Years ago, I thought Black too charcoaly. Now I like it more than any other.)

I tend to second your endorsement of Macallan, and agree that the 12 is a good value, although I have been mocked for that view on the FB before.
I also like Highland Park 12.

buy the green. I bought 2 bottles, because I forgot I didn't like it a year before the second time.

Stop toying with me. I'm liable to get upset and confused at Pearson's Liquors and wind up buying a goddamned bottle of Glenlivet, which I think we can all agree is terrifically overrated.
